Scientific Opportunities for the Dynamic X-ray Scattering (DXS) Instrument at LCLS-II-HE

Virtual Workshop
June 8, 2022

Please make changes for June 8 Workshop.

During this second session of our discussion series, we will focus on a specific application: Time-resolved Resonant Inelastic X-ray Scattering (tr-RIXS). Traditionally a ‘photon-hungry’ measurement, tr-RIXS is poised to become a prevalent experimental method at high repetition rate XFELs, which provide orders of magnitude more photons than conventional sources.

This time, we will try a panel discussion format with Matteo Mitrano starting with a pleanary address followed by Mark Dean and Yao Wang as participants. Please see the abstract of the discussion as linked in the Agenda. There will be an opportunity for the general audiance to present their ideas during the discussion. For these contributions, please use the provided template and send your contributions to Hasan Yavas before April 19 yavas@slac.stanford.edu.
