Contest

General Information
The SSI has a long tradition of a single question contest that challenges the wit of the participants. The contributions are collected by paper entries where you can write and draw. It is limited to a few paragraphs. Enter your entry in the pink question box outside the Kavli Auditorium before 6pm on Thursday Aug/22. Winner will be announced on Friday morning (Aug/23). Winner will receive a prize. Some introduction and a winning example can be seen from e.g. the 2012 SSI contest.
SSI-2019 Contest Question
A discovery in the area of the Physics of Flavor could lead to the first signal of BSM physics. What will it be (all present anomalies excluded!!) and how will it impact future developments of in HEP ?

Crossword Puzzle
A special entry from Emma Oxford (Carnegie Mellon), who also contributed the honorable mention entry on Belle-II charm CPV, in the form of a crossword puzzle has drawn especial interest from the judges and participants so that the you can also try the crossword puzzle yourself, and check the solution.
