Save the dates September 25-28, 2018 for the next joint users' meeting of the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL) and the Linac Coherent Light Source(LCLS). This annual meeting is a unique opportunity to gather together the lightsource community in a single scientific event that includes numerous presentations in plenary, poster and parallel sessions. Participants are able to learn about current/future facility capabilities and the latest user research as well as to discuss science with colleagues from academia, research laboratories, and industry worldwide.
The conference will include plenary sessions in the mornings and several focused workshops including:
The September 26 morning plenary session will include a welcome from SLAC Director Chi Chang Kao, invited talks, young investigator awards, and a poster blitz. The September 27 morning plenary session will include an update by Harriet Kung, DOE BES, facility updates from the LCLS and SSRL Directors, Mike Dunne and Kelly Gaffney, a townhall discussion with facility directors, and invited talks.
